Recently we sent out a survey regarding what our club would like to be involved in doing at convention which will be held at the Gaylord Texan in June 2009.Filling the Tote Bags was the landslide winner for the 2009 Convention Survey with a 68.8% vote. 2nd place was Farewell Gifts and tied at 3rd was Local Tour Volunteers and Opening Night Dinner Favors.
These results have been forwarded to Jane Heiserman & Tish Visinsky…who are the lead coordinators for our D/FW Area Council for this major event.
PLEASE NOTE: If our Club is assigned the task of Filling these Tote Bags it will most likely take place the day before Convention (on June 25, 2009). It will be a 2-4 Hour commitment from the Club as a whole. This means…the more people (i.e. the voters) who go to fill Bags…the faster, easier and smoother it will go. Please pencil this in on your calendar and we will keep you posted as this progresses.
